ICKEM 2025

The 15th International Conference on Key Engineering Materials (ICKEM 2025) was successfully held in Marinha Grande, Portugal from March 11-13, 2025, bringing together researchers and industry experts from around the world.

 

The conference began with a warm welcome to participants through a cultural immersion program. Attendees enjoyed guided tours of the city's renowned Glass Museum and CDRSP research facilities, followed by an evening of Portuguese hospitality featuring wine tasting at Museum Joaquim Correia and a captivating Fado music performance at Stephens Theatre.

 

Day two featured rigorous academic exchanges, starting with inspiring keynote speeches at the historic Stephens Theatre. Parallel technical sessions across multiple venues facilitated in-depth discussions on cutting-edge materials research, while the poster session showcased innovative projects. The day concluded with a networking dinner at Hotel Mar e Sol.

 

The final day blended onsite and online participation, demonstrating the conference's hybrid adaptability. ICKEM 2025 strengthened international collaborations while celebrating Portugal's rich scientific heritage and cultural vibrancy.
